NEXUS Co-Artistic Directors Alexander Hersh (cello) and Brian Hong (viola) are joined by fellow artist Rannveig Marta Sarc on violin to present a week of masterclasses and performances for the students of Missouri State University School of Music.

The Aizuri Quartet will be giving a recital as a part of their residency with the University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program.

The Aizuri String Quartet embarks on a 5 day residency for the University of Iowa String Quartet Seminar, culminating in a performance of their program entitled Community alongside celebrated quartets by Felix Mendelssohn and Robert Schumann.

In its annual PCMS concert, the “genuinely exciting” (New York Times) Aizuri Quartet presents a program that explores the idea of community in a multi-faceted way. It features works by four female composers, including Indian American composer Reena Esmail, whose raag-influenced Fantasie layers the voices of the string quartet to create a beautiful, swirling world that invites players and audience into the concert experience.
