This award-winning ensemble presents a cornerstone work by Bartók and an original transcription of a Clara Schumann song, and they collaborate in a performance of Brahms’s beloved String Sextet No. 1.

The Aizuri String Quartet performs works by Clara Schumann, Franz Joseph Haydn, and Bela Bartok, as well as the world premiere of Jennifer Higdon’s Azure Waves, written for the Quartet in celebration of the Buffalo Chamber Music Society's 100th anniversary season.
